How do you deal with hateful people? Do you lash out in defense or just ignore them? 

When I encounter “hateful people” I operate under the belief that the magic of my words will change their minds. That way, even if it doesn’t work, I have put my energy into a peaceful attempt and have luckily channeled my emotions in my words rather than trying to punch someone.
